Thousands of lives were lost, but billions of pesos were given. Thousands of people are grieving, but millions of people are praying.

Typhoon Yolanda was the most destructive typhoon to ever make a landfall in history. It destroyed a lot of homes and establishments; yet it united the whole world as one and especially united the Philippines as one nation. Filipinos from all over the world did their best to donate and raise funds for their beloved country. Even non-Filipinos did philantrophic actions in order to help the typhoon victims.

As one Filipino nation, we would like to thank all those who donated and sympathized with our fellow Filipinos. Thank you for all the prayers that you have offered for our country. No words can express how grateful we are as we were informed of all the help that we have received.

God allowed this to happen for a purpose. It was an eye-opener for all of us to take care of Mother Nature, not only for our generation, but for the generations to come. God administered us as caretakers of all His creations; and this includes nature. Caretakers do not seek to destroy but to protect, maintain and flourish. Let this catastrophe serve as a lesson to each and every one of us to do our part as caretakers of mother nature.
