HAPPY NEW YEAR! It's been a while since I last posted in this blog. (Sorry for that haha) this was supposed to be posted before 2014 ended but things just got crazy so yeah, better late than never right? Anyway, about this shoot... This wasn't really my first time to shoot for an OOTD. (I do that to my sister most of the time haha) but this was my first time to really conduct a photo shoot just to showcase an outfit.

Everything was planned overnight. I just asked my high school friend, the model in the pictures, to pose for me because I wanted to practice my photography skills while I was on vacation. I just thought to myself, maybe it's time to become productive before the year ends. I spent so many days being lazy and just do what I want to do, so I finally decided to do a personal project. If there's one thing I learned from my first year in an art school, it's that nobody can help you become a better artist than yourself.

Before editing the photos, I never really thought of a theme for it but as I was editing it, it seemed like a vintage-kind of photo shoot for me so I decided to give it a vintage look, having less contrast and a yellow-ish color. So that's about it! I'm really aiming to have more shoots this year so I hope that you'll stay tuned for that. ;)
I would really like to thank my friend, Kenneth Dadulo, for saying "yes" so quickly and for feeding me. hahaha!

This was during our Family Encounter Weekend at La Salette, Silang, Tagaytay last month. It's a church activity where your family reconnects with each other. It helps the family bring back the connection and bonding they imagined or want. Anyway, if you're wondering who is the child beside me, that's my very sweet godchild Buchai. We served as presenting families where we do talks about bringing the family's closeness back and stuff like that.

Anyway, about my outfit. I wore a simple white long-sleeves shirt and added that Bohemian feel necklace. And yes, I think it's kinda bohemian with its vintage design. And of course my awesome red galaxy leggings. I didn't intended to look Bohemian-ish but when I wore this outfit it gave me that feeling. Plus the place we took this picture is just Bohemian-ish. (Is there even a word like that? Hahahaha!)

Simple get up, isn't it? Wore this last week at the office. Yep, this is my "day to day" attire. A simple tee, pants and flats then I'm good to go! I wasn't supposed to have an outfit shot but because I was thinking that this wasn't good to blog but thanks to Mr. Dawn De Leon (an employer at Campaigns&Grey) I had good shots for this ootd :)

By the way, speaking of Campaigns&Grey, I'm currently having my internship here and so far, I'm enjoying my stay here. As of now, I am their longest intern yet. Well, hoping I could be part of this ad agency that's why I am working extra hard so they could see that I am deserving to be here.

So enough about my internship, about my outfit, I decided to pair my shirt with this red pants so it wouldn't look dull. And as you can see. I'm wearing my doll shoes socks, and it's not nice. HAHAHA! Next time I will try to hide it or better yet, just take it off. But besides that, I would say I love this outfit. Simple yet eye-catching.
